Religious Study

Now let's be serious.  You can't expect a blog that has the word Mormon in the title to have no religious discussions.  For those of you who want to skip these and look at my cool sewing projects, feel free.  In the above picture you can see my Ensign Magazine, my Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price and my Bible.   I typically study these and other resources for 30 minutes each day (except Sunday where I typically count church and scripture reading with my husband).

So today I read a talk from Elder L. Tom Perry, from the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.  It was basically about sharing the Gospel with others.  He said that I should (1) Boldly declare the life and teachings of  Jesus Christ, (2) Be a righteous example of what I believe, and (3) Talk about the Church in my everyday life.  I will try to be better at doing these things.  Here is the link to the full text of the talk.   Copy and paste, my friends.
