A New Shower Curtain

What with everything that's been going on, I have barely had the time or energy to sew at all.  In fact I finished the shower curtain last Thursday but didn't have the energy or time to do the buttonholes until today, nearly a week later.  What a slacker! 

We moved a few weeks ago and my mom came out to help me unpack.  She also helped me find some great fabric for a new shower curtain, one I can take down and wash whenever I want to.  Here are the fabrics.  We thought they looked great together and that blue matches our towels pretty well.

I didn't use a pattern to make this shower curtain.  I basically just did some simple math and cut things in half and sewed them together.  If you look closely you can see that the top section is the rest of the fabric from the bottom section.  I just sewed buttonholes to hang the curtain.  I am very happy with my new shower curtain.  I am especially happy that I actually finished it and can now enjoy it in my bathroom and move on to other sewing projects.
