This blog will include descriptions of all the really cool stuff I think I do. Maybe you'll think some of it is cool too.

A Girl Named Digit
This book was awesome! I couldn't put it down. It was published this year and written by Annabel Monaghan. Digit is a mathematical genius but, as she enters high school, she tries to hide her talent. She is plagued by patterns and cracks the code that lands her in FBI protection. A wonderful story occurs full of jokes, romance, betrayal and gun fights. With no language and clean descriptions, this book made me laugh out loud and made me feel happy to have read it. It also allowed me to embrace my own math geekiness. In fact, I loved the book so much that I looked up the author, wrote her an email about how great it was, and received an email the next day saying she was hard at work on a sequel. It just made me love the book and author so much more. Hopefully you can find this book at your local library.
