A Tutu

So I have a little girl and I am always looking for quick, simple crafts to feed my creative soul.  Someone I know online posted about making these no sew tutus and they looked super simple.  And doesn't every girl need a tutu at least once in her life (who knows? This may be the only tutu she ever owns).  My first difficulty was buying the tulle.  What colors did I want?  It was so laborious to try and find three colors that I was satisfied with.  In the end I thought, 'is there a holiday coming up?'  Indeed there was: the Fourth of July.  So I got red, white and blue and went home.  I didn't actually make the tutu for about two months but once June rolled around I figured I should get on it or wait until next year.

It was as simple as the website showed it to be. It claimed to be no sew but I ended up sewing the elastic together because I could.  Basically you just cut the pieces of tulle and then tie them in a know around the elastic.  Easy peasy.  I made this tutu while I watched an hour of a movie and it was quite relaxing.
