Way back when (a few years ago) my mom and I decided to start exchanging homemade ornaments with each other. For me that expanded to include making one for each of my children and myself as well. So now I am excited to make five or more ornaments each year (I already have an idea for 2018 too). I took a bunch of process photos of making these and then lost them all to the mystical powers of the computer so all you get is the finished product photos. I followed this pattern to create these cute ornaments. I used supplies I had on hand except for the baker's twine, which was a beast to work with so I gave up. It was just too thick!
Here they are almost finished. There was a lot of hand stitching but I'm so happy with how they turned out. It did take about ten years to figure out how many strands to use for the bow and scarf but I did it.
Finished product. Extras were given away to a select few (as in 2).
