December wreath

Some of you may remember the debacle that was our homemade Christmas wreath last year.  You can remind yourself by clicking here.  As I meandered through Hobby Lobby in November I found a small fake wreath that I thought would work a little better for us.  I had no problem finding the right accoutrements and it was easy to put together.  I used floral wire and a hot glue gun with some wire cutters on the side. 

I was much more excited about this finished product than our previous wreath (which I threw away after Christmas).  My mom liked it so much that she wanted one for herself so I made her one with my leftover supplies.  I was even more excited that I actually wanted to keep this one.  Hopefully it lasts for a few more years.
