Be Kind to the Environment

Here is my most recent project.  I bought this fabric back in April because it was so awesome and I just knew I couldn't cut it up.  I had to think of some way to keep it in it's traditional state.  This fabric is so awesome because it is totally what I say all the time!  Some of my mantras are contained on this fabric...just ask my husband.  He'll tell you.  So I came up with the idea to just staple it to some canvas and see if that worked.  However, I didn't have a staplegun.  What kind of sterotypical housewife am I that I don't have a staplegun???   How did I ever think I could go throughout life without one?  And before you think, 'doesn't her husband have one?', just remember that my husband doesn't have power tools; I have power tools.  Luckily, I was planning on visiting my parents and my dad definitely has a staplegun.  So today I used his.  It took me about 30 minutes to make these wonderful treats for my bathroom.  They don't match anything in my bathroom, but who cares.  In my mind everything matches everything!

I just wrapped the canvas up like a present.  It was awesome.  I might Modgepodge it but I'm not sure yet.
