The Snickerdoodles

On Sunday, we had some people over to play games and it was rather spur of the moment.  I really wanted to make something sweet, because there was absolutely nothing sweet in the house.  I mean I resorted to eating a cinnamon raisin bagel and pretending it was like a cookie; come on!  So I looked in my fabulous cookie book, but we didn't have all the ingredients.  And, it being Sunday, I wanted to do something really simple.  So I decided to make snickerdoodles, which are super easy to make and have a cool name.  I made the dough, rolled them in the cinnamon sugar and baked them.  And guess what came out??!!  These pasty excuses for cookies!  They were so white and non-cinnamony!  I was appalled (apparently), but when I bit into them, I was not disappointed.  Go cookies!!  Even if they don't look like they are supposed to, they are still delicious and chewylicious.  And our guests ate about half of them so they must have been good.
