A Crinkly Toy

I have really been wanting to sew some baby type toys to see how my kiddos would respond to them.  This is the first thing I made.  It is basically just two pieces of fabric with some crinkly paper inside.  I've seen other people use cut up wipes packages.  I just used the annoying instructions from my quilting batting.  Here is the paper and fabric (I love clownfish!).

Here is the finished product.  It is about 4 x 5 inches.  Unfortunately, the paper lost it's sharp noise after a day and is now more of a dull sound so next time I will try using the plastic from the wipes packages.  The kiddos didn't play much with it but they liked it when I played with it.  They may enjoy it later, in which case I will make more.
