You may have noticed throughout the year that I was posting random blocks-of-the-month blocks. Well, on December 1st, all of us crazy quilters met at the quilt shop to share the quilts that we made out of the blocks. Mine was a little unique because I didn't want to make a big quilt (the original quilt is a twin size). Another unique quilter made her quilt into a king size quilt. This was also my first attempt at quilting a reversible quilt. I tried to match all the corners and it went pretty well. I am maybe a millimeter or two off. That may not seem like much but I sure noticed it, but as my mom says, you can't see the mistake on a galloping horse so what difference does it make (and my readers certainly can't see it from the photos). Indeed.
Here is the front and back
Here is how it looks after I hung it in its place of honor, our stairwell. It's perfect because our stairwell is see-through.
I love the quilt-what a great idea and a perfect place for it. Well done, Dot! :-}
