Up the Mountain

My husband and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary this year.  Too bad we were apart for it=very lame.  I would say it was one of the worst weekends ever.  He did send me flowers from all the way across the ocean and that was very nice.  They were pretty and I loved getting them.

However, roses and lilies only go so far as to replace your loved one.  So, consequently, I was still a little sad that weekend.  Because of that, I was prompted to go up to the mountain, or in other words, Mt. Lemmon.  A short drive would take me to wonderful vistas with green trees and the great city below.  Here are some photos from that drive and trip.  It did make me feel a little better. 

Luckily, our separation has now ended and we joyfully celebrate the time we have together everyday.  Hopefully we can continue that even after life gets mundane and normal again.
