I got all excited this week to make some cookies for work for Valentine's day. I didn't actually work on Valentine's day so I took them in early. I was wandering through my vast collection of cookie cookbooks and found these adorable little snowball cookies that just look like "Winter" to me. And we've been getting some cooler weather lately so they were perfect.
Consumers raved over them and wanted more. They are a shortbread cookie with nuts and mini-chips. Yummy! Here they are before baking.
Here they are after baking with powdered sugar on top as suggested. They don't look much different from before they were baked.
And here is the finished product, cooling and looking good.
