Sam's Oodles of Apples Muffins With Country Crumb Topping

Sheesh!  What a title!  But the muffins were delicious.  I was looking in one of my cookbooks and I saw these and I had a few apples that were going to get old pretty fast so naturally I had to use them for baking purposes.  I even had all of the ingredients already!  I don't make muffins that often because cleaning muffin pans isn't my favorite job ever, but sometimes I just go crazy!

I didn't have one chunk of time in which to create these so I mixed what I could before I went to class so it would be ready when I got home.

Here is the mess I created while I made these muffins.  You can see my apple peels and parts of my food processor.  It's all very exciting and anticipatory, don't you think?

Here they are before baking.  Very exciting stuff.

So to make 17 muffins, I used all of these dishes.  I used my nut grinder and multiple bowls and I'm sure I used more than 17 things to make these 17 little muffins.  I asked myself, 'was this one of the most difficult recipes in the book?'  I checked the book and nope, it's the easiest difficulty.  I wonder what a four or five star difficulty would look like!

Here is the finished product looking pretty good and yummy.

Was it worth all that hard work?  I say, "yes!"  Onlookers said that these muffins looked very pretty and that I had outdone myself.  Consumers couldn't say anything because they were so awestruck that a human could make something so good.  And the muffins didn't even stick to the paper cups.
