It's a new blouse!

I entered my sewing room on the Fourth of July and looked around.  I saw a lot of fabric and a lot of patterns.  I saw a lot of half-finished projects as well.  My only goal was to sew, but how could I choose just one thing to focus on?  It was oh, so difficult.  I started picking up some patterns on the floor and then thought, 'I'll look at my blouse patterns.'  I happened to have bought fabric about six months ago to try out a certain pattern.  What that certain pattern might have been, I have no recollection, but this is what I made out of my fabric.

I must say that I am very pleased with the result.  I found a pattern that looks flattering (in real life for sure) and that fits, and that is super simple.  I wore it to church and even got a few compliments about how nice I looked.  That was very morale boosting.  I may just sew some more clothes!

  1. I think it's cute. Not as boxy as I feel some homemade clothes tend to look.
