A Birthday Apron

It was mid-October when I found out my friend was having a birthday soon.  Perfect!  I was going to Albuquerque and could find her some good fabric there.  I happened to know that she loved coffee and that her coffee apron had gone the way of all the world in her last move.  She needed an apron and her birthday was right around the corner.  Again, perfect!

I went to four quilt stores in Albuquerque and only one of them even had coffee fabric at all!  I was disappointed.  I didn't really like it either because I thought the print was too big.  I went back to the hotel feeling dejected.  I searched on the Internet to see if I could find some cute fabric but the best stuff I saw was the fabric that I saw in the quilt store.  Well, it would be cheaper to buy it in the store instead of paying for shipping so I went back and bought that fabric.

It turned out to be very cute and the print wasn't too big at all.  She really liked her present a lot.
