Emergency Sewing

I was moving the rest of my sewing room over to our new apartment, and look what happened to my ironing board cover!  Can I say whoops...yes it was all my fault.  Well, that put me down one very important ironing board, and we all know that all good housewives desperately need an ironing board.

So, what's a poor housewife to do?  Just make a new ironing board cover.  I got the scoop from my mom and that got me started.  As you can see, my ironing board cover was on it's way to the great ironing-room-in-the-sky anyway so my ripping it was a good excuse to make a new one. 

Here's the finished product...green with white daisies.  If you think it's cute on the computer, it is way cuter in real life.  And it was so super easy...way easier than all the tutorials I saw online.  I don't know what kind of housewives created such long and laborious tutorials.  Good thing I have a super cool housewife mom.
