Now that I've gotten that out of the way, you may have heard of this story already, but I certainly didn't based on my aversion to the news. It is the story of Abby Sunderland, the 16 year old sailor who wanted to be the youngest female to circumnavigate the globe non-stop back in 2010. I really liked reading her story. It was told in three points of view which were very easy to follow. The Sunderland's are very religious and that means no foul language! Yay! The text and story flow well and are a very easy read. So if you want to read about a crazy 16 year old doing amazing sailing feats, this is the book for you!
This blog will include descriptions of all the really cool stuff I think I do. Maybe you'll think some of it is cool too.

Unsinkable
You may or may not know this about me, but I don't watch the news, I don't read the news, I ignore the news entirely. If I wanted to be depressed, I don't need the news to help me out. This has been my way since high school (and before; I might say my whole life). The exception, of course, is when you had those pesky assignments in school where you had to find current events or other such nonsense.
