Bows!

I went to a local craft fair yesterday and I found the most awesome, tubular, stupendous thing ever!  A bow maker: to make bows with ribbon and fabric.  Easier than the bow maker we used to have way back in the 90s (which my mom probably still has even though she probably hasn't used it since the 90s).  So I went home after the craft fair and started making bows right away.  I grabbed the closest ribbon I could find which was this green and blue ribbon that had been lying on the floor (really big shelf?) of my sewing room for months.  You can make a traditional bow with a loop in the center or you can leave the center open to add a button or other flare.  I got nine different sizes.

Now this Mormon housewife can be so on top of things and make homemade bows for presents that will actually match the wrapping paper!  Yes!!!  Now the only trouble is figuring out a way to attach fabric to paper in a simple fashion.  We'll see what I come up with.
