Here is one of my latest clothing adventures. Actually I started this one way back in July, but I didn't finish it until last week. In reality, though, I started it way back in 2006 when I bought the fabric in Sierra Vista during a quilt shop hop with the intention of making this very shirt. Now you are probably asking yourself, 'does it really take six years to start and complete a blouse when you already have the fabric and the pattern?' I assure you, it does. Indeed, that is why all seamstresses have a stash of fabric. There are just too many things to make and too little time to make them in. I'm sure you agree.
In any case, I finally made the blouse and I wore it to church on Sunday to rave reviews (in fact no one said anything about it, but here is your big chance).
Here I am wearing it and trying to take a picture of it. This didn't work so well because my arm totally got in the way! But at least you can see how gorgeous the fabric is.
Here are the frogs, or enclosures. They are all fully functional.
Very cute!
ReplyDeleteI did notice your shirt on Sunday and I meant to say how much I liked it but I though about it during the middle of Sunday School. I really like it. I love that type of shirt!
