Hershey Kiss cookies

I got a new cookbook for my birthday and I hadn't even used it yet, so I knew I just had to use it for cookies for my co-workers; but which recipe...there are so many to choose from!

I made the Hershey Kiss cookies (which is misleading since they are all Hershey Kiss cookies), which are chocolate chip cookies covering a Hershey Kiss.  Yummy.  They turned out so well, I made them two days later for my other workplace.  Just don't tell anyone I didn't clean the cookie sheets in between use; some housewives are just too busy for that.  They were also super easy to make with minimal ingredients: there's not even any salt!

Here they are so cute and petite.

And there's that Hershey Kiss inside; it's like a special prize!

I wasn't going to throw the drizzle on them, but it was so easy and it only took me about 3 minutes to drizzle 27 cookies, so I took the time to do it.  I think it adds the finishing touch.

  1. Ooh that looks so yummy! I bet you could use other Hershey's Kisses inside as well, like the almond, or coconut or maybe the white chocolate...I'm drooling now.
