Craft Fair

There it is.  That's my craft fair table on base at my first craft fair ever.  I spent the majority of October making little things to sell there including quilts, ornaments, hot pads, trivets, envelopes, cards, bows and burp cloths.  I enjoyed spending the time making these items but I was a tad disappointed after the craft fair when I hardly made any money.  Boohoo.  It seemed to me that not very many people were buying from anyone so I can't feel too bad.  I bought a few small things that are super cute including this hair barrette made from ABU fabric and made by P31:24 Boutique.

I probably won't jump at the chance to do another craft fair on base but I will say this: it certainly kept me preoccupied for the entire month and that was something I definitely needed.

  2. Most people don't sell much at their first craft fair. At least now you have an inventory of stuff on hand in case you come by sales in other ways.
