Beading on Fabric

Today I took a class at my local quilt shop called Beading on Fabric.  We learned about the supplies you need and what kind of needles and thread to use.  We also learned some basic beading lingo.  There were six of us in the class and I had a good time learning something new.  We learned three basic stitches: the seed stitch, the back stitch, and the stack stitch.  Here are my samplers and supplies from the day.  There are three, and there are beads on all three of the pieces but you can't see them on the paisley.

Here is a closeup of my stuff.  We learned the scatter plot method, the beads in a line method, and the stacking method.  I really liked my stacked sequins/beads.

After the class I got all excited because I have two beading projects in mind; one for Christmas and one for a skirt that needs to be repaired.  I want to get started right away, but right away probably means I'll get started in June.  Oh well.
