Interrupted
I just finished this fabulous novel called Interrupted by Rachel Coker. It wasn't what I expected but it was really good and it was written beautifully. The book takes place in America during the late 1930s to mid 1940s and follows Alcyone Everly as she tries to make sense of her life after her mother dies from illness. Follow Allie as she makes mistakes, fixes them, loves, and then learns to love again. You will find out how resilient people can be and also catch a glimpse into the American culture of the time.
