The Fabulous Coin Purse

While my husband and I got some needed alone time by getting out of town, I made a point of going to the local quilt shop while we were there.  You may be wondering why my husband and I needed some alone time since we always have alone time since it is just us.  Well, if you can't understand it, I don't know if you know what it means to be a stereotypical housewife.  Back to the quilt shop.  I got this awesome pattern for a coin purse, with pockets or without and in two different sizes.  What made me so excited to make it was that they had one made at the quilt store so I could handle it and get excited about making my own.  So we got home at noon and this afternoon I made this:

Isn't it so cute!  I love clownfish!  It took about an hour. Now that I've made one, I also know what not to do, that is, use pinking sheers.

If I opened an etsy shop do you think people would buy something like this?

  1. I've definitely seen Etsy stores with this kind of stuff, so your chances are probably good, as long Etsy isn't saturated with them.

  2. It is cute. I don't know much about the etsy shop. I've only been on there twice.
