While I was in Indiana I bought some things at a quilt store. One of those things included the cutest paper piecing pattern for little Christmas presents. I decided I wanted to make the little wall hanging to donate to a silent auction that one of my group's participates in. This is a great pattern for using your small holiday scraps. First you make each present separately. There are five presents in all.
Then you sew them all together. Pretty easy stuff if you know what you're doing.
Then you add some cute borders to make your collection of gifts stand out.
Here is the finished product. It measures only about 14 x 8 inches and is a nice miniature wall hanging. I hope people like it at the auction. I am going to make one for myself later (maybe next year?). I also thought this might look cute as birthday presents too so I'll probably try that sometime.
Cute, cute, cute!!!! Can I have the pattern or make me one? Please???? :-} mom
