Baking Cookies

Good housewives know the value of a fabulous cookie.  Well, these cookies are absolutely sinfully delicious, even if I made them over the course of three days.  Have you ever made cookie dough in a blender?  Now I have and I would recommend using a food processor instead...it distributes your stuff better, though it was nice to not have to worry about softening your butter.

These are cinnamon roll cookies.  Blend them up and let them cool in the fridge for 2 hours or more.  Then you get to make the filling, roll out the dough and roll it up and stick it back in the fridge for an hour or more.  Then you cut them and paint on maple syrup before you bake them.  Then, the cream cheese frosting.  Add it all up and you have one amazing cookie.

Here is before baking:

Here is after baking and frosting.  I know the frosting distribution needs work, but it's all the same to the stomach!

  1. Those sound and look fantastic-lucky Haven. I still haven't gotten the book yet. Someone must be hanging on to it. It sounds like a keeper.

  2. Haven didn't like them. Good thing I know plenty of people who will.
