Recycling

Every good Mormon housewife should be trying to save the earth by recycling (and other things, I'm sure). Well, I was looking around in my sewing room working on small projects and I saw a calendar that I've been keeping for forever. When I say forever, I mean it. It is a unicorn calendar and I really, really liked the art in it and I was hoping that creativity would strike one day and I could recycle this calendar into something awesome. Well, that was 15 years ago; that's right, years! In the interim I got rid of all my awesome calendars because they were taking up space: what a mistake. How I long for those calendars now that I know what to do with them. That is, make envelopes. This was the easiest thing in the world to do. I just need to get labels or white stickers or something for the addresses.

  1. Very cool-where did you get the template?

  2. All you have to do is take apart an envelope that you already have that is the size you want. Then, you should make a template from cardstock because the envelope itself is pretty flimsy.
