Exactly a year ago I started a new diet. I began a new journey to eliminate processed sugars, white flours, rice, potatoes, and some other things from my diet. I started cold turkey and enjoyed a miserable summer full of nausea, headaches, and general despair. Luckily that lasted only 2 months. Then I started seeing results in some extreme weight loss. One year later and I have lost 75 pounds and haven't eaten any of the following: cake, cookies, ice cream, pie, brownies, and candy. What seemed impossible now seems like a miracle. If I can do it, others can too. And don't forget to celebrate! How did I celebrate you ask??? I made these delicious looking chocolate chip cookies and didn't eat a single one (though I did enjoy the smell).
Wow! You are a rock star! I am so impressed! Did your cravings eventually just go away?
