Photography Painting

Have I been neglecting my blog?  Maybe...but I have been rather busy lately.  And I've been working on some slightly bigger projects that I can't post about yet.

As most of you know, I signed up for a craft fair in October.  Today was the day I decided to do some photography painting.  You may wonder what that means, but I have posted about this before.  I take a photo. I get the photo printed.  I buy canvas.  Then I marry the two together...picture and canvas become one with a painted, decorative border around it.  Guess who does the marrying?  You guessed it...modpodge.  I had to do some touch-ups on some of my previous paintings and I did eight new ones today.

Here is the mess halfway through.  It took me all day with all the coats and drying and everything.

Here are the finished projects.  My husband said he was surprised that no one had ever purchased one before.  That's one of the reasons I am branching out to a new craft fair...new clientele.  I am slightly partial to the yellow daisy but I also like the Wenatchee river too.
