A Canadian Apron

My mom bought some Canadian flag fabric a million years ago and it sat in her patriotic stash until I inherited her patriotic stash a few years ago.  Then it sat in my patriotic stash for a few years until this very night.  I knew a few Canadians that I could probably give this apron to as a gift and I really wanted to just make it and get it over with instead of staring at the fabric for another six years.  So I got to work.  Guess how long it took me to make this apron: a whole hour!  Wow!  So I'm glad that's over with and now I can stare at the apron instead of the folded up fabric.  Sometimes it seems pretty amazing to have a square of fabric and in one hour be able to make a functioning item.  I love sewing!

Here is a close up of the print.  Do you know any Canadians that would like this apron?
