Slow Cooker Pork Chops

I have no idea what is going on, but I tried two new recipes in one week!  That is a record for me.  Usually I try a new cooking recipe three or four times a year, but two in one week!  That's unheard of.  Maybe it is because the crock pot was already out or maybe I just want some new flavors in my diet.  Or maybe, just maybe, I am beginning to like cooking.  Let me explain.  I don't like cooking but I am good at it.  I make good things that are sometimes delicious and most times just plain good.  But I don't actually enjoy the art of cooking.  I much prefer baking, but, as some of you know, my baking is now on the back burner.  So with baking out of the way, maybe my mind and talent has moved over to cooking as a replacement.  Who knows.  In any case, I made these pork chops on Sunday and they were delicious.  I followed the recipe exactly using 1 1/2 pounds of boneless pork chops.

Here is the finished product with some roasted vegetables on the side.  I roasted broccoli, carrots, and red onions.  This was a delicious meal.  To me it tasted like it could've come from a restaurant.  The blend of spices was so good...better than the balsamic chicken I made earlier.  Food can be so good!  When I succeed in making good and different recipes it makes me want to try out more new recipes.  I was also thanking my lucky stars for the Internet and all the "free" recipes I can find there (for the low price of $63 a month of course).  I also got to use my new garlic mincing skills.  Woot!

  1. I found the recipe and saved it. Did you cook down the liquid to create a sauce, or did the meat just turn out that way?
