A Christmas Present

I don't know about you but, stereotypically, I start my Christmas presents in January.  How else can I make gifts for all of my loved ones unless I give myself plenty of time?  Otherwise I would be frantic by the time December rolled around and that is never fun.  So last January I started this tablerunner for my mom for Christmas.  I had to order some of the fabric online and wait and wait to get started.  Finally, I started and finished in January.  Thus ensued the great hiding game.  It felt like I had to hide this item from my mom at least three times (in reality only twice).  They came to visit in April and in November.  In November I decided to just wrap it for Christmas so I wouldn't have to worry about prying eyes.

And now, nearly a year later, I can share it with you, my loyal blog readers.  Don't forget to oooo and aaahhhh.  Sorry it is directionally challenged.  I am fixing dinner right now and don't have time to fix it.  Enjoy!

  1. I love it! I can't wait to display it next Christmas. I'm going to enjoy doing my own decorating in 2014. I appreciate all your talents! :-}
