Now that it is December I am steeped in Christmas traditions and what is a better tradition than baking for others (okay, there are probably a lot of better traditions). Of course, my specific baking of cookies today may have been because I got new holiday sprinkles this year and I just had to try them out. I got back from vacation on Tuesday and I couldn't wait to use them. I wasn't even planning on baking today but it turns out I am obsessed with my sprinkles! My first step was to decide on a cookie that was super easy and quick but also included frosting for sprinkles. I wracked my brain, I looked at recipe books and I finally remembered these super chocolatey cookies. Basically they are chocolate chocolate chip cookies with chocolate frosting. Yum. Not that I have eaten any today, mind you. "But I remember..."(name that quote die hard fans).

Check out my array of holiday sprinkles. Soft sprinkles, harder sprinkles, sugar sprinkles; they make me happy just to look at them. And yes there are some with no frosting and some with frosting and no sprinkles. I aim to please everyone...even the crazy one that doesn't like frosting or sprinkles!
