Here are some hanger covers that I made for my sister-in-law for Christmas that I thought I would share. I made one of these in preparation for the craft fair I had in December. I thought I would make a bunch and sell them. There are always clothes falling off of hangers no matter what. Enter hanger covers. They are so successful at their job...who wouldn't want some? But sadly I didn't have time to make more than one. Now, after the craft fair I had plenty of time to make things so I got to work. I was able to use fabric I already had which was awesome. I also put a little velcro at the bottom of each cover so that they would stay on the hanger without a problem.
Here they are cut out and ready to go. I tried to make a rainbow of colors. Most of the fabrics are 1930s reprints.
Here they are finished. They look very much the same.
And here is one in action. Oooooooo.
Great idea! I'm going to have make some of those this year. They will be great gifts. :-}
