Last Saturday I hosted a table at the local craft fair on base. It went from 10-2. It was a total bust! No one came to it. There were maybe 25 shoppers total. I couldn't believe it. All the vendors were sitting around, bored out of their minds, wondering when someone would show up. It was terrible. Don't ask me why no one came. Luckily, some people did buy stuff from me so I made a small amount of money. Here are pictures of my table. I didn't take a picture of my ornaments because I already posted about them. I sold one star ornament and one heart ornament.
The entire table.
Ornaments that I made.
The flettehjerter which I gave away free with every purchase.
The gift wrapping bows I made from ribbon.
Photo paintings, photography cards, envelopes, coasters. I got a lot of compliments on my photos but no one bought anything. I did sell the patriotic coasters.
Two quilts and the dollar bin. All the fall squares were sold which was nice. I've had those for three years and wanted to get rid of them.
I think your display looks wonderful! If it had been anywhere else (like here) you would have sold out, especially with the Norwegian hearts. Philistines, you're surrounded by Philistines! :-}
ReplyDeleteYour items look great. Sorry there weren't more customers. Wonder why there weren't more people, not enough advertising, some other event going on that day? etc. I went to the one they had here and was disappointed that the majority of the people there were home based business vendors. I was wanting to see a bunch of home crafted items. I bought 4 things, 3 of which were crafted items. (scarf, earrings, and noel glass block with lights inside it)
